Clear is a read-only governance service for Azure resources. Start by connecting your inventory and running a first scan to establish ownership coverage.
Read-only by default
Clear never modifies or deletes Azure resources. It reads metadata and activity signals to classify intent and notify owners.
Requirements
- Read-only access to Azure resource metadata
- Visibility into resource tags and ownership markers
- A notification channel for ownership prompts
Connect to Azure
- Create a read-only service principal.
- Scope access to the subscriptions you want to govern.
- Register the connection in Clear.
First scan
Run the initial scan to establish a baseline of ownership and expiry coverage.
