Privacy Policy

Jive helps teams verify roadmap state by reconciling reported status with evidence from connected tools. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

This policy applies to the Jive website, applications, APIs, and GitHub App (the Service).

SkyMoon Technologies LLC is the data controller for account and billing data and acts as a processor for integration data on behalf of Customer organizations.

Organization administrators control access and data within their organization. Individual users may need to contact their organization admin for certain requests.

If you are a Customer organization and require a data processing addendum (DPA), you may request one by contacting support.

• Account data (name, email, organization membership, roles).
• Integration data (repository metadata, pull request metadata, checks/statuses, ticket/issue metadata, approvals, deployment signals).
• Operational and audit data (configuration changes, access changes, audit events).
• Usage data (pages viewed, feature usage, device/browser metadata).
• Support communications (emails and support requests).
• Payment data handled by processors (we do not store full card numbers).

• Maintain audit trails and security controls.
• Improve reliability, performance, and user experience.

We share data with service providers needed to run Jive (hosting, authentication, database, payments, and related infrastructure), and with integrations you authorize. We do not sell personal data and we do not share personal data for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We may add or replace service providers as we grow (for example for email delivery, customer support, or analytics). Where required, we will provide notice before adding a new service provider that materially impacts your data.

If you connect Jive to a Third-Party Service (such as GitHub and, in the future, Jira, GitLab, or Azure DevOps), we exchange data with that service as directed by you and subject to that provider’s terms and privacy policies.

We may disclose information where required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of SkyMoon, our users, or others. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, bankruptcy, reorganization, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

We use third-party service providers to host and operate Jive. These providers process personal data only on our instructions and only as needed to provide their services to us.

Our current service providers include: Hetzner (hosting and infrastructure), Neon (hosted database), Clerk (authentication and user management), and Stripe (payment processing and billing).

We maintain an up-to-date list of subprocessors at /subprocessors.

Your data may be processed outside your country. Where required, we use safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms.

We retain data while your account is active and for a limited period after cancellation to allow export or recovery.

Audit retention follows your plan settings and configuration.

Backups and logs may persist for a limited period consistent with our backup cycles.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data, including access controls and encryption in transit (TLS). No system is entirely secure.

Access to integration tokens is restricted, and you can revoke access through the relevant third-party platform at any time.

• EEA/UK: access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, and objection.
• California: no sale or sharing of personal data as defined by CPRA.
• Organization admins may control deletions and exports for organization data.

We use essential cookies to operate the Service and may use analytics cookies to understand usage. Analytics cookies are optional where required by law.

You can disable cookies in your browser, and where available you may opt out of analytics in-app or via a cookie settings control.

Jive is not intended for children. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

We may update this policy. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email.
